Opening note
A reduced palette gives every decision more weight. Tone, texture, and contrast become the system rather than decoration.
Fewer colors, stronger roles
A compact palette forces clarity. Each tone must establish hierarchy, mood, or interaction rather than simply fill a surface.
We begin with atmosphere, test the system in extreme light and dark contexts, then reserve the sharpest accent for moments that deserve action.
Texture carries the variation. The palette stays coherent while photography, grain, glass, and shadow keep the experience alive.
Limitation also improves consistency between teams. When every color has a defined purpose, new pages and campaign assets can be assembled without reopening foundational decisions each time.
Accessibility remains part of the palette from the beginning. Contrast is tested across text, image, motion, and environmental light so the identity keeps its tone without sacrificing clarity.
A small palette does not mean a flat experience. Scale, opacity, material, and movement create a wider emotional range while the core colors keep every expression recognizably connected.
